Do what you love and love what you do and you will never work again!
When I went bankrupt, I ask the Higher Power (God, Allah, Buddha, Great Spirit or whatever you want to call It) why am I going through this? And the answer was that I need to share my experience and help people manage their money well. I also found out that many people want to be financially free, so I decided to teach people how to be financially free. You may ask "But you are a bankrupt, what earns you the right to teach people how to be financially free?" I have the same "but" too BUT I told myself because I am a bankrupt, I earn the right to teach people how not to be in my position.
3 questions I ask myself which help me find my passion.
1.What do I love to do?
2.What brings me joy?
3.What will I do if I know I cannot fail?
My answer for the above 3 questions is the same; to teach people how to be financially free. That is why I don't mind doing this for free. I am not asking you to do things for free.
You see, if you do something that you love, you will do it well and when you do something well that help improve people's life, people will want to pay you for your service. Do it for free the first time round and get testimonials from people who have benefitted from what you do. From then on charge a small fee and increase from there as you gain more experience and perfect your skills. Do charge a fee and focus on giving people value for their money. Once you have made it and become financially free, then you can start to give back and offer your service for free. From my experience it is better to charge a fee because people will appreciate more and will apply what they learn if they pay for the service.
I will share with you, next week how to be an expert in something that you love to do and make a lot of money.
